The ground
sixteen
engagements
I’m Satyam Saxena. Every engagement since 2012, across six countries: how long each one ran, and what it was.
Engagements

- Secure and private systems
- Data and identity
- Regulated finance
- Logistics and hyperlocal delivery
- Retail pricing
- Mobile and learning
-
Zatse
India 2012
Software engineer
Local business search going straight at JustDial. I built the listings search and the back office the call centre ran on.
- Retail pricing
-
Fastox
India 2013–2015
Co-founder, CTO
Uber for goods rather than people, built from nothing: dispatch, routing, live driver tracking. Hyperlocal delivery in India a decade before Blinkit and Zepto made it ordinary.
- Logistics
-
InmarketAutoBuyers
US 2013
Architect, senior lead
A lead-management CRM for auto agencies. The hard part was every agency getting its own leads daily over automated FTP pulls keyed to its identity.
- Sales & marketing
- Automotive
-
AgencyOMS
US 2014–2016, on and off
Architect
The successor to InmarketAutoBuyers: the same lead management for auto agencies, plus personalized URLs. The view online link in a campaign email rendered a page built for the person who clicked it, so every landing page was generated rather than published.
- Sales & marketing
- Automotive
-
Octonius
Spain 2015–2016
CTO
Work management software: intranet, projects, documents, and the permission model under all three. The cloud work here is what got me hired to build the next one.
- Secure & private
-
Origolo
Germany 2016–2017
Co-founder, CTO
End-to-end encrypted file sharing and chat, zero-knowledge by design, so even a compromised server yields nothing readable. Co-founding it is what moved me to Europe.
- Secure & private
-
EpekData
US 2017–2026, on and off
Architect
A decade on and off inside audience data: pipelines, hygiene, reverse append, deliverability, and VIN-level automotive data. The consumer dataset behind it runs past 300 million people, carrying in-market intent alongside the identity.

- Automotive
-
Westpac
New Zealand 2018
Frontend lead and mentor, architect
A retail bank: onboarding, compliance, audit trails, and mentoring the frontend team. The custom PDF pipeline I built there on open-source libraries is still delivering printed quotations to insurance customers years later. Regulated work teaches you what done actually means.
- Regulated finance
- Data & identity
-
Omnia Retail
Netherlands 2019
Architect, frontend engineer
Dynamic pricing, competitor scraping by the million. The call I made was not to rebuild: keep the old application running and render the new one inside it until the migration finished, so the platform never went dark. Collecting the data was the easy part. Making it trustworthy enough to price against was not.

Automotive MediaVentions
Netherlands 2020–2022
Architect, frontend lead
AutoTrack, Gaspedaal and AutoWereld running as one platform. I led the architecture and rebuild of AutoTrack itself while the merge happened around it, taking Core Web Vitals from 60 to over 90 and reworking the SEO of the vehicle detail pages. Contentful came in behind it, with bulk image import automated from days down to minutes. Six million visitors a month, three brands that had to stay distinct.

Drivonic
US 2020–2026
Architect, senior frontend architect
Seven years on automotive audience data: VIN-verified targeting, attribution, and the frontend performance work the business could finally see. Rebranded and migrated the platform to IRIS along the way. Latterly as much advisory as build.

- Data & identity
- Sales & marketing

ING
Netherlands 2023
Architect, senior DevOps engineer
Regulated ground from the infrastructure side: release paths and audit trails that had to be provable rather than merely documented.
- Regulated finance
- Secure & private
-
Media Distribution Systems
US 2023
Advisory
Advisory across the move off GLIQ, the platform an email business had outgrown. The cutover itself took under two weeks in December so the new one could open in January, which is the kind of deadline that decides what you are allowed to change and what has to be carried across untouched.
- Sales & marketing
- Data & identity
-
A crypto gaming platform
Spain 2024–2025
Architect
A launch: wallets, back office, readiness, with zero-knowledge work running in parallel on the privacy side. Core Web Vitals went 40 to 60 to past 95 across two rounds of work, on a platform taking real traffic throughout.
- Secure & private
-
Kindertaal
India 2025–2026
Owner
A children's language app on both stores, built and run by a team at a company I own. The one product here that is mine rather than a client's.
- Mobile & learning
-
An identity-resolution platform
US 2026
Advisory
Identity graphs and the cost of running them, which turned out to be the same year's problem for everyone. Reworking the resolution engine took the pixel's match rate from under half to over seventy percent.
